Chris Bitten, B.A., RCC, CEAP, ICADC

Chris is a seasoned and highly-skilled solution-focused therapist in Vancouver, BC. Like all counsellors on the team of EAP +, Chris works from a whole-life approach and invites clients to consider all aspects of their lives as they develop problem-solving skills.

Chris offers practical, effective counselling for individuals and couples. He is committed to a straightforward, easy-to-understand approach in helping his clients meet their goals. He is a specialist in Family Systems Therapy and as well has been trained in Integrative Psychotherapy, which emphasizes the importance of our relationships with ourselves and with others: family, friends, coworkers.

Chris is also an International and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor. Alcohol, drugs and other addictions continue to be problematic for many employees

Chris has much experience – both clinical and operational - in the field of EAP. He was a founding commissioner of the International Employee Assistance Certification Commission. He has extensive experience as the administrator of a public sector Employee Assistance Program; and is a leader in the field of workplace-based assistance for employees’ personal problems.
